Nauryz is the day of the revival of nature, its awakening from sleep. This is a very symbolic holiday and, accordingly, many traditions and customs are associated with Nauryz. Kazakhs have called Nauryz not only the holiday itself, but the whole month of March. Children born in this month were called names, for example, boys - Nauryzbay or Nauryzbek, and girls – Nauryzor Nauryzgul.
